ROSEMONT, Ill. — The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has introduced NRCA Material Handling Series: Overhead and Understood, a comprehensive training program with five modules designed to provide a thorough explanation and illustration of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) rules related to a variety of material-handling equipment, such as cranes, conveyors, hoists, forklifts and all-terrain vehicles.
This training program provides OSHA-mandated training required for signal persons and riggers involved with crane and hoist operations, and in-house certification of forklift operators performing work at the company warehouse, shop and job site. Each module includes a DVD, helmet decals, a printable instructor's guide, learner's manual, test and answer key, tailored assessment and training tools, customizable wallet card, and a certificate of completion. Two handbooks also are included. The modules can be purchased individually or as a package.
