SAN DIEGO — OneRoof Energy names Nick Hofer as vice president of marketing. Reporting to President and CEO David Field, Hofer will oversee all marketing functions as part of the executive team leading OneRoof Energy.

Hofer will be responsible for building the marketing team and positioning OneRoof Energy as the premier solar provider across all channels. His role will also include brand management for the company as well as developing key marketing channels. Hofer will create strategic partnerships to expand the company’s reach into new markets to support growth objectives. OneRoof Energy was backed by $50 million in initial financing in 2011, followed by an additional $5 million this year.
