ROUND ROCK, Texas — The United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors (UASRC) has formed as a non-profit organization with the goal of inspiring positive change in the storm restoration industry. The mission of the UASRC and its initial founding Members is to promote the highest ethical standards in the restoration industry. Our Members adhere to a code of professional conduct, educate property owners about the insurance claims process, and give back to the community through outreach and charitable programs.
Jacob Sachs has been appointed the Executive Director and Bill Combes has been appointed the Director of Marketing and Member Services. Jacob comes with a great depth of experience in all aspects of the home remodeling trades. Jacob entered the residential remodeling trades in 1996. In 2009, he was recruited by one of the nation’s largest Re-Bath franchise operators to manage their sales and marketing department. That office was purchased by a competing Re-Bath franchise in 2011. Jacob joined the UASRC in early 2012. Bill comes to the UASRC with a wide variety of experiences in multiple industries. His start up experience goes back to 1995 when he co-founded AnythingWeather. Bill spent from 2008 through 2011 at AnythingWeather as VP of Operations and Marketing. This experience introduced him to many connections in the storm restoration business, further developing his skills in both marketing and social media.
