WAYNE, N.J. — GAF has joined with Reed Construction Data and Hanley Wood to help renovate and expand an abandoned building for use by Sasha Bruce Youthwork (SBY). As part of projectDC, on May 16, 2012, volunteers will participate in a site renovation project to benefit at-risk and homeless youth in the Washington, D.C., area.
The property was donated to SBY for use as service-enriched transitional housing. The goal of the project is to convert a community eyesore into an energy-efficient transitional home for homeless young people seeking to develop skills for their future.
