More than two-thirds of the roofing contractors in our State of the Industry survey saw sales increase or stay the same in 2011, while 32 percent saw sales decline. The results of the most recent survey compare favorably to those in the last two surveys, with the sales outlook consistently improving each year.

Sixty percent of survey respondents expect sales to increase in 2012, while only 16 percent expect them to decrease and 24 percent expect them to remain the same. The long-term outlook is even better, with 76 percent of contractors surveyed expecting sales volumes to increase over the next three years.
