FERNLEY, Nev. - Polyglass USA opened its newest manufacturing plant in Winter Haven, Fla. on April 23. This facility is the first modified bitumen manufacturing plant in the state of Florida.

The new manufacturing plant will produce Polyglass’ entire line of premium roofing products, including its innovative SA self-adhesive membranes and underlayments that utilize ADESO® Technology. Featuring the most up-to-date manufacturing processes, the new plant will be completely computer-automated.

“This new manufacturing facility is light years ahead of its time,” announced Gary Snook, vice president of manufacturing for Polyglass USA. “The state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment will enable this plant to produce a better, more consistent product than any other facility of its kind.”

The new manufacturing plant is part of a nine-acre campus in Winter Haven that also includes administrative offices, research laboratories and a storage warehouse. “Due to the growing popularity of our products in Florida, we are planning to make Winter Haven our company headquarters for our research and development, procurement, logistics and supply chain,” stated Chief Operating Officer Andy Hastings.
