Jacksonville, Fla.— Reliant Roofing is pleased to announce their partnership with the United States Army’s PaYS Program.

The Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) Program is a strategic partnership between the U.S. Army and premier businesses from a wide range of industries. The program was created in 2000, and aims to provide enlisted soldiers with a smooth transition into civilian life through career opportunities with partnership companies.

To become a partner of PaYS, businesses must guarantee soldiers an interview and potential employment after they leave the Army. The program seeks established businesses with secure reputations to partner with. Reliant Roofing felt they would be an ideal match for the PaYS Program and are thrilled to have been selected.

“We got involved in the program because we loved the idea of being able to easily source and hire veterans for our company. We currently have four veterans who are model employees within our business,” said CEO Sean Shapiro. “A current employee introduced us to PaYS, and we decided to pursue partnership. The process was lengthy, as the Army is truly looking for the cream of the crop businesses to provide the best opportunities for their service men and women. We are proud to be one of them.”
