DENVER — Johns Manville (JM) has been named Supplier of the Year for 2013 by Insulate America Inc. This marks the third time JM has been honored by the organization for superior customer service and overall support of the organization.

“The Supplier of the Year award is voted on by members of Insulate America and recognizes the commitment Johns Manville’s entire team has shown to our organization,” said David Beam, president and CEO of Insulate America. “From the leadership to sales team members, JM understands the importance of listening to the needs of their customers, being responsive and honoring their commitments. We’re proud to recognize their continued hard work.”

Insulate America is a cooperative group of locally owned, independent insulation contractors who provide and install quality insulation and other building products for residential and commercial construction. It is the largest independent insulation contracting organization in the United States with 185 locations in 45 states and more than 5,000 employees. Representatives from each of the locations vote on the Supplier of the Year award.

“We’re honored to have been named Supplier of the Year by Insulate America for the third time, and we greatly value our partnership with such a terrific organization,” said Fred Stephan, senior vice president and general manager of Insulation Systems for JM. “This award is a reflection of our team’s dedication to delivering our broad range of insulation products by way of industry-leading customer service.”

JM and Insulate America’s partnership extends more than 13 years. The two organizations partnered to create the annual America’s Best Installer competition, which highlights the importance of quality insulation installation and its impact on an energy-efficient, more comfortable home. Now in its 12th year, the competition pits top installers from across the country in a fast-paced, head-to-head competition. Competitors are judged on quality of workmanship, adherence to safety rules, speed and productivity. This year’s competition is slated for Oct. 17-19 in Denver.
