VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — CertainTeed Corporation is offering two new low-slope continuing education courses designed to help specifiers, architects and other roofing professionals specify and install better roof systems. Titled “Procedures for Successful Modified Asphalt Roofing and Repairs” and “Procedures for Successful Built-Up Asphalt Roofing and Repairs,” the courses are free and available online at www.certainteed.com/continuinged. In total, CertainTeed offers five low-slope roofing continuing education unit (CEU) courses.

Written by industry expert Gene Saxton, National Account Manager for CertainTeed’s Commercial Roofing business, the courses are accredited by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI). Architects and consultants receive 1.5 credits from AIA and/or RCI when they pass the online course, while in-person seminars given by CertainTeed territory managers are worth 1.0 credit. For more information on in-person seminars, contact Gene Saxton at 281-320-0080. For more information on CertainTeed, visit www.certainteed.com.
